##2026 Enduro Quest - EOI - Support Staff/Helpers

Event information

Registrations for this event are closed.

Dragon boats with 16 paddlers and a Sweep (No drummers) – if short of numbers with any team we can backfill boats.

Why 16 paddlers only?   It will enable space for added 1 st aid equipment and water etc….

There are also three planned rest stops to counter fatigue etc….

 NO charge for Helpers/support/volunteers.

There are a number of logistics to fine-tune, and will be sorted in the next few weeks.

It will be run along the lines of the ORD River paddle where there will be ample opportunities to rest and stop for a short while.

 Risk/Management Documents are being updated.

We will be accompanied by two rescue vessels from the VMR Bribie Island and Caloundra Coast Guard and another vessel from DBP.

MSS will be in charge of a BBQ at the area adjacent to the Caloundra Powerboat Club.   So not only will we require paddlers but everyone else to assist in the BBQ and logistics at the finish area.

Any monies over and above expenses will be divided equally between VMR Bribie and Coast Guard Caloundra.

This is an opportunity for your club and Pumicestone to organize an initiative event and promote, Dragon Boating in the South East Corner.

We have had positive responses from a number of dignitaries who will be on site at the start and finish of the event.

We are also negotiating a few surprises.

All that is required at this time is an EOI as to either paddling the event or being a member of the all important support crew.
